Moje zainteresowania naukowo-badawcze związane są, przede wszystkim, z prowadzeniem interdyscyplinarnych badań nad materiałami dla ochrony i kształtowania środowiska w aspekcie otrzymywania, poznania ich struktury oraz właściwości.

Obecnie prowadzę intensywne badania nad tlenkowymi materiałami amorficznymi, które stanowią nowej generacji szkła biologicznie aktywne w środowiskach glebowych, a które mogą znaleźć zastosowanie w zasilaniu roślin w składniki pokarmowe (makro- i mikroelementy).

Zakres badań obejmuje m.in.:

  • Określenie zakresów szkłotwórczych zaprojektowanych materiałów oraz ich syntezę (Metody badawcze: XRF).
  • Określenie wpływu składu chemicznego wytworzonych materiałów na ich budowę strukturalną (Metody badawcze: TA, spektroskopia FTIR, Raman i MAS NMR).
  • Badanie aktywności chemicznej w wodzie oraz roztworach symulujących środowisko glebowe (eksperymenty in vitro) (Metody badawcze: ICP AES, SEM EDS).
